#1 Repurposing Inactive Oil & Gas Infrastructure

Luke Morrison is a partner with Bennett Jones Luke Morrison acting for energy companies on a broad range of commercial transactions, both in Canada and internationally. Keely Cameron is an associate at Bennett Jones with extensive experience on oil and gas liability issues from almost a decade of experience as counsel for the AER.

#2 Expansion Charge Technology for Vent/Annular Flow Remediation

Brian Murphy graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering. He started his career with Colt Engineering in 2007 then joined Shell in 2009. He spent 11 years at Shell as a CWI Engineer, specializing in well interventions and abandonments, and was appointed a Well Abandonment Subject Matter Expert in 2018. After leaving Shell in August of 2020 he started his own consultancy business and as of October he is representing W.T. Bell International as their VP of Applications supporting the commercialization of their Expansion Charge Technology.

Presentation Summary:
Brian’s presentation will provide and overview of W.T. Bell’s Expansion Charge Technology, current and future applications, information on job planning, and the run history of the technology to date.
