Abstract:

Accurate determination of well integrity on thermal wells has been a problem for many years. CalScan has developed a portable measurement tool for use on steaming thermal surface casing vents. The Hawk Steam gas Analyzer ( SGA ) that continuously digitally logs Steam Rate, Gas Rate, H2S measurement to 400ppm and Hydrocarbon %. An optimized H2S Isotope bubbler allows quick and safe collection of H2S Cadmium Acetate samples for Isotope determination. In the addition, the SGA is designed to supply clean uncontaminated gas samples for component and Methane Isotope analysis.

Presentation Summary:

1. Measurement Transparency
2. Hawk SGA Field Testing and Development
3. Overview of Hawk SGA Measurement System
4. Reporting and Examples of Data
